Ta Sul: Strike or Kick


Against an attack, we train to block and counter with a strike. The strike may be a technique with the hand or arm. These attacks may be a punch, thrust or slash with the hand. It may also be the elbow or shoulder. The attack may also be with the foot such as a front kick, side kick or may include the knee.

Kwan Jul Sul: Joint manipulation


Against an attack, we train to block and counter with a joint lock or manipulation. These include wrist and elbow locks along with ankle and knee locks. It also includes manipulation of the shoulder and hip joints.

Too Sul: Throwing


Against and attack, we train to block and counter with a throw. Throws include hand throws, hip throws and leg throws.
